Apr 29, Matt rated it really liked it Shelves: horror-books. Dark and disturbing looks at the long list short adhd. Bergin's collection feels like we're spying on strange and bizarre situations. From a man collecting bullets on his skin to a PI Frankenstein's monster, something strange is going on and all we can do is see where it goes. I had a lot of fun with most of these stories. I loved how a lot of them dealt with a dark future, where everything is dirty and a rough place to be. The title story is like something out of Creepshow and totally fits with click image on Dark and disturbing looks at the future. But the really awesome thing is that he put the story through a bunch of translations then translated it back to English, producing a wild and profound story. Definitely worth checking out. He has also included a three part tale about a superhero and their affect on a single person they saved. It's interesting because instead of focusing on big hero theatrics, it's a much more intimate story on redemption and doing the right thing. It was a very touching story. Overall, definitely a cool kissint to check out. Also make sure to hunt down the soundtrack because it's killer.
