Dec kiss my math, Joyfully Jay rated it really liked it Shelves: michelle. A Joyfully Jay review. Based on where I was led to from the blurb, it did take me a little time to settle into this story. The blurb reads as if the story will start someone to kiss the men meet for the first time. But the book opens with Carter and Dane having been together for four months, then they are separated, and then it flashes back to their meeting and first dates.
It then worked fine, once I got a bett A Joyfully Jay review. It then worked fine, once I got a better feel for the story. The book is almost solely relationship focused. The men have great chemistry and Cade pulls that off well in a fewer amount of words and we are able to feel their connection in a short time. Dane is always traveling and Carter has been burned in relationships before, so they both have their reasons for being unattached. But as they spend time together, they both realize they do not want to settle anymore. The book is a little back and forth between present day and the time they met and finding a way to work out their relationship is the focal point. I enjoy reading novellas, but with all books the pace and the depth has to be there.
The guys here had great chemistry and made for someone to kiss great couple. I someone to kiss have also liked to see parts of their story elaborated on to further pull it all together. The book starts with the relationship with them maybe moving to the next level. Dane is happy with his life and finally setting down roots. He meets a doctor when This is the first time I read this author, and I quite enjoyed it. He meets a doctor when he goes in to be seen for a stomach virus. They have some demons to exercise together. Dane loves his new life and he gets a phone call from a friend and his boss and has to uproot his life again. He has been burned before. Now, I like the book, I really did, though I do feel Dane did not fight for what he wanted most. That was a future right now with Crater.
That was a tough pill for me to swallow, along with him someone to kiss his friend control what was already set to check this out. I can overlook that because it was good and we get a feel of what they feel for each other. I know what they both want. With that being smeone though, I like that they were open and honest about what they could and could not put up with. What they could and could not handle. I also love reading a good holiday eomeone, especially with the holiday season passing.

Then, flash forward a year of the men being separated but unhappy without the other and them deciding to make changes to have a future together. I struggled with this novella. I'm not a fan when a book has flashbacks in the storytelling and about half of this book is done so from two different perspectives. There was no character development that let kixs have more ikss a surface understanding of the two men in the story. Dane feels an someone to kiss to his boss kies is why he continues to live his life on the road at his boss' whim. I mean, the man called on December 24 and said you need to move to a new state before December 26 and Dane just up and moved see more walked away from the life he had.
Something was mentioned towards the end of the book about Dane living on the streets, but nothing else. Zomeone was a doctor who couldn't believe anyone would think he should move and seemed pretty inflexible. Again, I always say that novellas are hard. There's a short amount of pages to get a story and for me, and when it works, it really works. For this one, I'd love if there was some character development or something that let me know the characters. Instead, this just seemed to scratch the surface. Rating: 3.
